Trying to fix the broken code.
Locate the cursor,
Scroll back to the line,
At the outset everything seems fine.

Press F8, wait and watch
Lots of errors on the screen
fix the block, look at the latch
Oracle really really is mean.

Client wants to run some test
Developers cannot afford to rest
Behold the wonders of syntax highlighting,
With the code we are all still fighting.

Just managed to get it fixed,
In time, the bug we nixed.
PL / SQL coding blocks
Oracle database table locks.

Someone's forgotten to rollback
Knowledge here we still lack.
The client has started to scream
is this programming extreme?

No test cases we managed to make,
All the processes are simply fake.
