Leaving

Its the day when we will forever part,
Can't change your fate, no matter what,
Never meant to fall in love with you,
Now you are going, i am feeling so blue.

Asking you to stay would be so selfish.
Things will never be the same again.
Your thoughts will be a part of my brain.

When I walked through a mall by your side
and saw the girls with children inside,
I wish you wud be the mother of my child.
With you, i felt completely beguiled.

However its time now to let go.
What should have been done weeks ago.
Leaving you is really tough on my part.
Thanks a ton for not breaking my heart.

In a moving train, we had made a pact.
Lets together brace for impact.
This way it would not hurt at all
If either of us had to take a fall.

I wrote this poem when I knew that my friend Angel was going to leave India.
